Hi! 😊Thank you for visiting my profile. 📌I like to think that besides the information concerning my studies and my career there is -I hope- much more, about myself, that does not transpire. What appears here is the path of an interest that became study and turned then into action. It is a becoming of which — thankfully — I am proud. 👉🏽Outside these pixels I am a curious person and I like to experiment and learn about new things. What you see (indeed) is an academic transversal path: from a humanistic high school to an increasingly scientific university path. I don't believe much in humanistic VS scientific ambivalence but I am convinced that one can be both. Notions and interest are inclusive and they make inclusive the one who posses them as well. I hardly say no to change.I try to be resourceful when I find something I am passionate about and I am not afraid to fail or try to improve on aspects I can enhance. 👂🏼Talking and meeting new people is one of my passions. In fact, if you have questions about me or my path or just want to have a chat I invite you to write to me.I will respond with pleasure :)instagram profile:https://www.instagram.com/pennacchim/facebook profile:https://www.facebook.com/marco.pennacchi.35/Birthday:March 2, 1998

Creation of an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system for automated reading of watch case serial numbers. Development and training of a convolutional neural network (CNN) for digit recognition.Pre image processing for system generalization. Creation of a graphical user interface for the production workstation. The python project aimed to develop an automatic serial number recognition system for watch cases in order to streamline the current system and reduce data entry errors. Initially, different image filtering techniques were proposed, which were later deemed too computationally intensive. In the end, only the horizontal transformation using Open-cv package of the input image was retained so that visualisation of the clock would be simplified for both the prediction model and the user in charge of entering the serial number. A system consisting of a sequence of neural networks in Pytorch was therefore used. The results are compared in live-detection and instantaneously inserted as the final result. The presence of an operator at the production station checks the correct re-recognition of the number and carries out the next steps for processing the case. The model also provided for an input and output check of the results by means of clearing the SAP data collection system directly in the code via the PyRFC package. A verification system was subsequently developed for numbers that had already been entered or had incorrect characteristics (e.g. a different number of digits from the production system). The creation of the graphical user interface with Tkinter package was aimed at both simplifying the use of the model in the back-end as much as possible and ensuring the greatest possible user-friendliness when interacting with the results produced.

Service to support the analysis of bank data for creation of a data lake architecture. Use of Microsoft Excel as the main working tool. Periodic presentation of results analysis to the client and development of a further common strategy. The project was mainly carried out through an in-depth cross-analysis of the data in the different departments of the bank. This step was done by directly accessing the client's internal data collection system, eliminating the possible presence of identical data. Different data visualisation techniques were conducted via excel to achieve this objective. An input data analysis system was developed in parallel to ensure the future stability of the data lake system.

The role mainly involves attendance at local events for the awareness campaign on the use of public water and a more conscious use of plastic in the world of mineral water. Tasks:Administering questionnaires on water quality and customer satisfaction.Manage the data collected in the questionnaires with Excel.Report and explain information about the quality of public water, its healthiness, the techniques used to purify it, during the public events.Collect any criticism and direct it to official company channels.Distribute gadgets (such as canteens) to encourage the use of public water, and reduce plastic pollution.Support official events such as openings, events or shows with local politicians.I have been fortunate to be able to take an interest in how integrated water management works in my province. I gained some knowledge about not only the importance of water managers in purifying water but also in treating waste water before it is returned to the environment.
