Growing up I had the great fortune of spending summers in France. My mother was born and raised in Nice - we still have family there; we made regular treks from the East Coast of the United States to the Riviera. The deep blue waters of the Cote d ’Azure, the majestic and humbling French Alps, they were my hangouts.
