Marco served as the External Inspection Construction Technical Manager, responsible for overseeing the specialist contractor for the Viaduct repair and retrofit works. ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS+ Marco managed the technical matters during the emergency rehab project from structural assessment to repair works. The project included repair and retrofit of “T” pier caps through epoxy injection, FRP reinforcement and external postensioning.

CONSTRUCTION TECHNICAL MANAGER at Sta. Catarina Bridge ▪ FOA ▪ Mexico ▪ 2019 to 2022 ▪ Project value +$135 million USD.Marco served as the External Inspection Construction Technical Manager, responsible for overseeing the prime contractor and ensuring that the project exceeded regulatory requirements. The project included Structural Steel, Prefabricated Prestressed Beams, post-tensioned “T” piers, LDP Piles, Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement, soil-nailing, shotcrete, micro piles and Mechanically Stabilized Earthwalls. ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS+ Enforced construction works per the state-of-the-art practices according to the specifications and international codes and standards.+ Acted as a liaison between the regulatory agency, the project owner, and the contractor to address technical issues. + Identified and evaluated all the construction submittals.+ Conducted audits to the steel and bearings factories and testing labs.+ Recommended NDT testing and developed repair procedures for elements out of specification/tolerance.
