A Researcher in Nuclear Physics working on γ-ray spectroscopy and nuclear structure with experience in data analysis, software development, semiconductor devices, and Monte Carlo simulations.My research activity currently focuses on experimental studies of nuclear structure, particularly shape-related phenomena, and their relevance in quantum systems, fundamental interaction physics, and astrophysics. I exploit various γ-ray spectroscopy methods for this activity and different kinds of neutral/charged particle detectors. I have experience with large HPGe arrays (e.g., GALILEO, GRIFFIN, AGATA, GRETINA, Miniball, EAGLE), segmented particle detectors, scintillators, spectrographs, and Si(Li) detectors for internal conversion electrons. I took part in several experiments over the years, in many international nuclear physics laboratories. Also, I am involved in developing new instrumentation and experimental techniques.I have been the principal investigator and/or spokesperson of more than 10 experiments at laboratories in Italy, the US, Canada, France, Germany, and Poland. I publish my work in top scientific journals in my field and I have been a speaker at more than 20 international conferences and workshops, with about 30% of invited talks.An aspect of my job that I love is working every day with people from all around the globe with extremely diverse backgrounds and identities. Also, I am passionate about making complex, difficult things easy and accessible to everybody. For this reason, I love teaching and outreach activities.
