My experience includes corporate banking coverage, international debt capital markets, international corporate loan syndication and project finance loan syndication for Brazilian companies, international contractors and sponsors in Latin America, and loan sales in the secondary market. For 8 years, I lived in the US, and worked for large American banks. I have also worked for other large French and Dutch banks. I have strong credit skills and in-depth market risk understanding which are the underpinnings of underwriting relevant large credit facilities for Brazilian corporates, and project finance loans for Latin American corporates. I also have origination capacity and effective interfacing with corporate clients, international sponsors and all major international banks operating in Brazil and Latin America.I have been a speaker at the Brazil Bonds & Loans in Sao Paulo and at Euromoney Seminars – Latam Syndicated Loan Conference in Miami.In 2021, I obtained IBGC`s certification to be a board member (Conselheiro de Administração).I am fluent in English and intermediate in Spanish. Abengoa was the sponsor and CFE- Comision Federal de Electricidad, the Mexican state owned company was the off-taker (2015-2016) • Priced and discussed underwriting of $1.0 billion 3-year Petrobras oil prepayment financing for a major global trading company (under discussion 2016)• Priced and structured a potential acquisition financing of $500 million 5-year syndicated loan for the Anglo American Brazilian assets (phosphate and niobium) that were for sale. Supported a Canadian and a global private equity investor (2016)• Partial (25%) underwriting and structuring (as a syndicator) of a $900 million project financing for the El Campesino gas fired power plant project and its integrated regasification plant (Octopus Project) with total cost of $1.3 billion in Chile. Sponsors were EDF – Electricidad de France, Biobiogenera (Chile) and Cheniere Energy (USA) (under execution 2016)
