Hi! I'm Marcos Dantas, a back-end developer at Globo, the second-largest television network in the world. Today, my main roles on the team are: adding features, maintaining our APIs, performing unit tests, and investigating and solving bugs.I studied at the Java Full Stack Bootcamp at Generation Brasil, an NGO that trains software developers in a simulated work environment. In addition to learning Java with Spring Boot to build REST APIs, I also master HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.JS, and React to develop dynamic and responsive web applications.Before joining Generation Brasil, I did a work exchange in the USA, working as a Foodrunner and Busser at a ski resort. This experience was essential to improve my English, my time management, my customer service, and my teamwork. In my free time, I also dedicate myself to studying other languages ​​and tools. I'm curious and eager to master Golang.My main motivation is to be able to combine my passion for technology and people, impacting and changing the lives of many people through code and problem-solving. My values ​​are communication, dedication, and resilience, and I always seek to update and challenge myself. My goal is to contribute to innovative and relevant projects.CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:- I participated in a Globoplay project in partnership with another company, for which more than 1 million customers were activated. I developed features and participated in bug fixes during the project testing.- I created "Merca Dela", a marketplace aimed at women entrepreneurs, developed during the Generation Brasil bootcamp. It is based on UN SDG 5 to reduce gender inequality.- I trained and led new team members at a restaurant located within one of the best ski resorts in the world, Deer Valley, which increased the restaurant's ratings on the OpenTable app
