As the Director of Clinical Development, I am and have been involved with a team of clinical research scientists and pharmacovigilance specialists who are responsible for designing, conducting, and monitoring clinical trials for novel gene therapy products. I have over 7 years of experience in clinical research and drug safety, having progressed from a Clinical Research Scientist to a Director of Clinical Research and PV, and then to my current role. I have a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos and a strong background in internal medicine, oncology, immunology, and gene therapy. I have contributed to multiple clinical trials, and regulatory submissions in the field of gene therapy. My core competencies include clinical trial design and management, pharmacovigilance, data analysis and interpretation; medical writing, communication, team leadership and mentoring. I am passionate about advancing the science and improving the lives of patients with cancer and other serious diseases.
