About Marcos Sousa

After a successful period of company implementation, I am focused on the development of Air China business in Brazil, organizing the whole operational, financial and commercial structure. During this implementation, on ad hoc basis I have been responsible for multiple administrative tasks such as airport related matters e.g. catering agreement-related issues, airport personnel and offices problems, cargo management and labor working permits among others.From May-07 onwards I managed all the sales activities and strategies in order to make Air China’s operations in Brazil profitable. We focused on developing a frequently win-win relationship with our customers/suppliers, coordinating Air China’s introduction to Star Alliance and promoting the brand in order to achieve a better quality net revenue. After that, I have started many projects of advertising with two of the major sports media channels (ESPN Brasil, Bandeirantes TV and Radio), so that we could promote the Beijing Olympic Games. Besides that, I developed a sales campaign having REDECARD and some suppliers as partners.I was the responsible for all research linked the Air China Portuguese version of our headquarters site. So, after all research, translations and up dates , I made it alive as it is nowadays, in order to implement a very simple direct selling tool for Brazilian market.I have been working closely to the important Sales Distribution Channels based on a strict sales and performance criteria.I started Air China Road Show to promote flights, services and Star Alliance, in partnership with Gap Net.Also, I have been responsible for coordinating all legal procedures .
