A second year student at the University of Kansas transitioning into my second year at the KU business school. Growing up in Castle Rock, Colorado, I acquired my passion for finance and business administration by consistently shadowing and being around my families entrepreneur background. At a young age, I was consistently absorbing and obtaining information regarding my father’s three restaurant businesses. My passion for watching him and demonstrating his accountability for the food and service industry, in which I gained information on fixed and variable costs which is imperative to operate a small business. Additionally, I achieved my love for finance by investing into my Roth IRA at a young age and routinely doing research and becoming more knowledgeable on the securities I was investing into and possessing and understanding the risk when investing into a certain company. Lastly, working within a small business, I have realized that the value of an exceptional work ethic is detrimental to the success of any business, and I have recognized what it takes to run a successful business. I am eager to pursue new skills in order to be an asset to any company.
