Responsible for managing the entire chain of production suppliers, non-productive, imports, Engineering, Supplier Quality, transport and Central Descartes 2 business divisions, leading a team of 45 professionals, administering a volume of US$ 300 million annual purchases; member of the Operations Committee (steering Committee composed of the President + 9 executives first hierarchical level); Vice President ABIFA Supply Commission (Brazilian Association of the Foundry Industry).Coordinated the review and adjustment of the procurement procedures for the achievement of the ISO-TS 16949; Created and implemented new procedures, procurement policies and code of conduct;I restructured the Purchasing Department, involving replacement of low performance workers for high performance professionals, establishing new controls and procedures.Coordinated plans Cost Saving Plans that promoted cost reductions in production items, offsetting "suppliers' price increases, resulting in deflation in the account of raw material in the last five years.Established monthly and coordinated the purchases Committees (the two divisions) with the objective of sharing information and increasing synergy with the industrial areas, seeking cost reductions and improvements in the supply chain. Responsible for the management of all supply chain in Brazil (19 plants), managing around US$ 150 million / year in purchases in Brazilian market and abroad, leading a team of 10 professionals.Responsible for leading the commodity "Non-Metallic" and "Bearings" the level of South America, participating as a representative of South American Purchasing Team in the Global Procurement Committee of Dana Global.A pioneer in the introduction of e-Commerce in Dana Brazilian plants, coordinating "Online biddings";Active participation in the achievement of ISO9000 and QS9000 certifications, acting as auditor leader; Global Commodity Leader for "Bearings" which coordinated the negotiations for all divisions in Brazil and USA spending US$ 10 million/year; I implemented the consolidation of cargo coming from suppliers in the USA, reducing costs. Coordinated plans "savings" promoting cost reductions; I acted as DQLP examiner - Dana Quality Leadership Process (Malcolm Baldridge) in plants in Brazil and Argentina to assess the Dana divisions of management models.

I started in 1986 when I was 23 years old with activities in the Finance Department (Costs and Budget control), responsible for coordinating the sector in 1988 assumed the leadership of the National Procurement Area in 1990 and in 1997 became responsible for Import Sector and then I also became responsible for Supplier Quality Engineering, which implemented new concepts for inspections in receiving and technical support to suppliers. In 1994 I took over the Purchasing Manager position.I managed a purchasing volume of US$ 20 million/year, leading a team of 12 professionals of the above sectors.Cctively participated in ISO9000 Certification of achievement in 19996, adjusting procedures and acting as Lead Auditor.
