Liquem Global Sourcing is a company providing independent procurement services to companies, projects and individuals worldwide. I currently direct all sourcing activities at a global level in a way that meets and exceeds client’s demands of cost and time. My main job is to provide competitive quotes that meet technical and commercial requirements established by projects or individual's RFQ.I cater to a variety of segments according to the client's needs, in areas such as: Construction of roads and railroads, Oil& Gas, Industrial, Chemical plants, Automotive, and Aviation. I am directly responsible to provide quotes and proposals to RFQs of projects such as construction of roads and railroads in Angola, Guinea, Liberia, Dominican Republic, Libya, Venezuela; Oil & Gas in Brazil, UAE; Metro construction in Panama; Mining in Guinea, Ecuador and Mozambique. Additional responsibility includes the addition of new projects from existing as well as new clients. I am also closely engaged in contract negotiations with suppliers, providing assistance for their introduction into new markets such as Africa and South America. Some of my current responsibilities and accomplishments include:- To assure that quotes to all RFQs are provided correctly, timely, competitive and profitable.- Oversight of RFQ translation, product identification, client communication, before starting quote to optimize results.- I coordinate worldwide purchasing process for awarded POs, from manufactuer deadlines, purchase and logistics to freight forwarder or directly to country of destine according to PO instructions.- Negotiation terms and conditions of sales around the globe.- Oversight of supplier identification, qualification and evaluation- During the last year helped company achieve an increase of 30% in growth with the addition of new projects and increase in number of awarded Pos.- Introduced and implemented new segment which contributed to substantial increase of corporate income.

Assigned to elaborate, implement and manage a logistics plan for equipment critical to the on time finish of the project. Successfully attained objective by coordinating efforts with supplier, port and customs authorities, engineers, safety personnel, shipping lines, brokers and 3rd party logistics contractors while following very strict Vale do Rio Doce’s Mining safety regulations.
