I overcame serious injuries that required multiple surgeries and months of rehabilitation, and returned to skiing within a year. I retired from ski racing in 2009 and focused on my education and career, while maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. I believe that sports have taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, which I apply to my professional and personal endeavors.
