Manage a portfolio of commercial clients in Business Banking providing advisory and banking services to businesses with annual revenues between $5MM to $50MM. Work closely with business owners and their CFO's to develop customized solutions to their financial needs. Leverage the knowledge and expertise of internal partners to offer tailored services and products in credit, treasury, trade, foreign exchange, equipment finance, real estate, merchant services and wealth management.

Supervised a team of six fundraising professionals and two administrative staff in support of the University’s short and long-term revenue goals; managed personal portfolio of 175 households of highly-rated consisting of current and past donors, prospects and leads.  Established and implemented fundraising campaigns in support of university’s critical mission. Conducted prospect strategy sessions to ensure successful closure of $100,000+ commitments. Partnered with outside search firms and internal talent management team on successful hiring and training of staff. Also, coached staff and coordinated annual performance reviews. Personally closed $18.6M in gifts from 2013 to 2021.

Served as primary major gifts officer responsible for securing gifts of $1M+ from alumni and parents in the East Coast region. Managed a portfolio of 150 households with a territory consisting of 12 states and 8 major markets. Identified, cultivated, and solicited new major donors during the university’s second comprehensive $1.5B capital campaign. Engaged volunteer leaders and planned campaign meetings across the country and led programming related to alumni affairs, event planning, marketing, external affairs, and parent relations. Consistently surpassed annual revenue goal of $2M each year from 2013-2018.

Led all fundraising efforts for the College of Education and Human Development including identifying, cultivating, and soliciting prospects capable of major gifts. ($25K+) Served as the School’s Chief Development Officer and liaison with the Central Development Office. Consulted with the Dean to provide leadership on critical fundraising strategies and development strong internal and external relationships. Implemented a long-term prospect development plan for the school’s 19,000+ alumni base. Wrote and executed proposals, grant applications, and presentations.

Directed and led revenue generating initiatives for the North Texas/Oklahoma markets to achieve 208% of annual goal. Conducted research on prospects and high-net worth sales leads and managed sales pipeline report and weekly report to market leadership. Captured and tracked prospect database and obtained Series 7 Securities license. Built relationships and planned projects with staff in Philanthropic Management, Estate Settlement, Trust Advisory, Investment Management, and Wealth Strategy & Planning.

Oversaw full life-cycle executive recruitment, including identification and presentation of Senior VP and above staff. Consulted with hiring managers to develop position objectives, qualifications, requirements, and salary. Conducted in person and phone interviews and coordinated all phases of candidate recruitment processes.

Led and executed all phases in a retained executive search firm and negotiated client contracts. Reduced search completion time from 120 days to 60 days or less. Streamlined business processes by creating a computer-based reporting system.
