In addition, the company has interests in the trucking, tourism, heavy machinery and food and wine production industries.As the Delivery Manager for websites & e-Commerce services, my key responsibilities include the design, development, implementation, delivery, security, support, and on-going operations of all of the web site assets for Flechabus and its subsidiary companies across the full range of industries in which it operates.I have full accountability for the resource management, budgeting, scheduling, vendor and contract management (between subsidiary companies and outsourced design, development and hosting companies), as well as the coordination of activities for our internal web operations team to schedule and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.I also work closely with the marketing teams to design, implement and analyse site analytics to improve our web presence and construct and implement digital marketing and email campaigns to broaden our direct sales channels. I was hired by Urquiza to manage multiple projects simultaneously. First of all, making the new website. Secondly, developing the Intranet; and most importantly, creating the new e-Business channel from scratch (e-Commerce, delivery tracking, loyalty programs). Eventually, I began to idenfify new business opportunities and came up with ideas related to internet technologies in areas such as collection services, tourism, finances and mobile technology. This, in turn, originated new projects, which I managed.As a technical leader and expert in web technologies, I was responsible for the implementation of activities such as managing projects’ scopes, schedules and budgets. In doing so, I had to coordinate different teams, including: development, design & usability (external partners); and marketing and customer service (internal resources).My internet skills and networking knowledge, which include HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL, XML, HTML, HTML-MP, Javascript, Ajax, CSS, Flash & Actionscript, RDBMS (Mysql, Mssql) and scripting/shell languages (Perl, PHP, and Ksh/Bash) allowed me to mentor other IT team members and enabled me to develop web & shell applications in an open source environment (LAMP stack in GNU/Linux Debian).

I was recommend for this position by a former workmate.I worked as frontend & backend engineer developing elegant and creative solutions for complex problems (performance & bugs) in a large-scale project, with advanced PHP (OOP) & Mysql, applying my coding skills in a distributed (LAMP stack) GNU/Linux environment.As freelance web developer, I wrote frontend code using HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax libraries as Sajax applying web standards. (new web applications & SEO techniques)As a IT Consultant, I worked as an advisor, identified new e-business opportunities and effectively communicated technical concepts to non-technical & business audience.

In 2002, I was presented with the challenge of creating a connected community within La Caja that enabled people to author and share information via the deployment of a Content Management System (CMS). As part of this project, I was promoted to the role of Intranet Manager and moved into a new management team that was focused on new Quality Control and Management Processes within the company.In this role, I was responsible for influencing and driving the creation of a collaborative community both within and external to La Caja. Additionally, I managed the Intranet on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that up-to-date content was made available promptly. I was also responsible for monitoring, measuring and analyzing intranet usage to drive the required changes to support organizational growth. A core part of my responsibilities in this role was to provide overall technical leadership for the design and implementation of La Caja's Content Management System (CMS) and many web applications. This system was a bespoke solution that was developed using a combination of Unix & GNU/Linux based systems with Perl & Mysql as well as a number of PHP web applications, which were implemented with the goal of delivering the highest quality user experience as well as improving process flow and were used on a day to day basis. A number of web technologies were employed including HTML, Javascript, CSS and Flash.In 2002, this project was nominated for the prestigious “Eikon Awards” in the category of "Internal Communications". I was formally recognized and was given a reward for the most innovative project of 2002.

After creating and presenting a prototype software system for vehicle inspection, verification and theft prevention, I started work as Team Leader and Web Engineer at La Caja. In this role, I was responsible for not only managing all technical & research aspects of the company intranet development but also for evangelizing and communicating the benefits to non-technical audiences (customers, partners, managers and executive managers)A number of technologies were utilized to implement the new intranet service including IBM AIX + Lotus Domino R4, Ksh, Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript and design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.At the end of 1999, I was given responsibility for the vision, design and implementation of a new company intranet after presenting and demonstrating a prototype model to the management team (including the CEO company). In this project, I coordinated all software development efforts relating to the company intranet. My key achievements include:• Complete management of the software development lifecycle for the company intranet. • Substantial improvement of internal communication, operations, knowledge and productivity for the 300+ employees within the company through the use of our completely re-designed and successfully implemented intranet. • Better communication between all key stakeholders in the organization, enabling a faster time-to-delivery for all intranet-related projects. I got a formal recognition and reward for the new intranet as the company's most innovative project of 2001.

After I graduated from high school, I was hired at "La Caja" as Auto Technical Specialist upon consideration of school recommendation. "La Caja" is the biggest and most important Insurance company in Argentina.I was responsible for assessing the overall state of automobiles to be insured, and to analyse and evaluate damages suffered by cars after an accident:• Budget management and negotiation deals with external partners.• Coordination and task assignment to team members.• Peer mentoring and training of new employees.• Communication between technical area (company and repair shops) and non-technical audiences (customers & sales, operations and legal teams).Having always been a bit of a “computer geek”, in 1997 I was asked by the company to participate in the first informatic system for vehicle repair cost budgeting, as part of the “testing and usability” team, which was developed by the company. At that time, I started to develop my first networking, internet and web technologies skills, self-taught.
