Founded a small software agency.As Technical Director I have been hands-on coding while also managing other resources to deliver projects for various customers, using a range of tools and frameworks, including: Azure and Heroku, .NET MVC, Node.JS, Vue.JS, React Native, Ionic, MongoDB, Docker and Kubernetes, Microsoft Bot Framework and ChatFuel.Projects include: - Game of Growth: a ‘choose your own adventure’ web game, that helps employees appreciate the importance and complexity of business growth, built to support 16 different storylines in 5 languages- The Big Customer Quiz: an interactive online survey for employees to test their knowledge of the client’s approach to customer satisfaction and wellbeing- Investors Client Experience: a microsite to inform employees of the different types of customers and services related to the client's Investors division- CHARGit platform: CHARGit provides the hospitality industry with wireless charging hubs that can be embedded into furniture. Their mobile app allows users to find participating locations and access exclusive discounts, while charging units can be monitored via a bespoke management dashboard- Clementine: an app that uses hypnotherapy sessions to help women feel calmer and improve their wellbeing. The app has been shortlisted by the Guardian as one of the top 7 apps for women in 2019 - NurturEd bot: an interactive chatbot for Facebook Messenger that helps parents develop their child's learning abilities- ‘PURCY’ bot: a chat bot for MS Teams that guides employees through the various steps of the company’s procurement process, while also answering questions around policies and practices within the business- FSI Analytics: a proof of concept for an internal analytics & messaging infrastructure

Co-founded a start-up that provided white-label food ordering apps to small businesses (on iOS, Android and Windows Phone) to let them quickly establish a mobile presence without the need for large investments or bespoke development. My main responsibilities included hands-on development of the product's online dashboard and API, as well as management of deployments and contractors.

- Management of the integration of a Specification Management System (SMS) developed in Siemens Belgium (spent 4 months on-site in Belgium for knowledge transfer) with a Manufactory Execution System (MES) suite – driving planning, functional gap analysis, object model redesign, database migration analysis and user interface redesign- Part of the steering committee responsible for the extension of the SMS to enable fast integration with external ERP and PLM solutions - data exchange requirements (using XML via Web Services, SOA) and plug-in framework development- Creation of functional specifications, analysis and development documentation liaising with the Product Manager- Member of the senior research group responsible for leveraging Microsoft Workflow Foundation (.NET 4) to create a customized business rules execution system. Responsible for user interface (Silverlight) and SOA design using Windows Communication Foundation- Provision of support to the technical team – issuing of patch releases, bug fixes and change requests working closely with the relevant teams (QA and System Testing)- Interviewing, training and mentoring of junior developers
