My career combines creativity, passion for nature and an attitude towards participatory processes.I am an architect and a carpenter based in Sicily, I design and build with wood and natural materials. For ten years, under the alias Senzastudio, I've been supporting urban regeneration and community building processes. A nomadic temperament brought me from a Burkina Faso village, as a team leader of an International cooperation project, till the Jardins des Tuileries in Paris to set up an exhibition with a local University.In 2016 I've met Benedetta Rodeghiero from Lemur, an international association based in Barcelona.Together we promote methodologies to design and transform collective spaces starting from the human body and from kids. Recently I am collaborating with the main Sicilian organizations that deal with regeneration and social innovation issues. My mission is to foster participatory building sites as a means of community building and empowerment, of public spaces transformation through bottom up processes.As a carpenter I'm focused on the design and building of interiors and outdoors.I've found my never-ending building site in the refurbishment of "Legatoria Prampolini, one of the oldest Sicilian bookshop, located in Catania.
