Design & Process FMEA Manager for Electronic Business Unit, with the following responsibilities:- To coordinate the cross-functional teams in order to have the project and process FMEAs drawn up / updated, guaranteeing product / process development times and following industry standards;- To interface with the technical management and project managers in order to summarize the main criticalities and ensure that all corrective actions related to the criticalities of the product or process are defined and completed;- To act as an interface for the Customer / Auditor and ensure that FMEA's activity complies with the CSR and procedures of the various car makers and the IATF standard;- To ensure that all Special Characteristics are identified and suitably traced in the FMEAs and drawings (construction / Customer / assembly) and update the internal standards;- To guarantee the correct deployment / translation of the Special Characteristics defined by the Customer and the respect / treatment of all project / process requirements, in functional and qualitative terms;- To use the software tools for managing activities and filing / approving the FMEA documentation;- To coordinate the available resources in order to comply with the timing of carrying out the activities of FMEA and Customer designs

▪ Responsible for the correct application of business processes and international quality standards of the Automotive sector in product development: electronic components for cars, mainly for e-Mobility applications (BEV, PHEV)▪ Activities and skills: moderation of the DFMEA, team leader in Problem Solving activities according to the 8D methodology, application of Problem Solving techniques (Fault Tree Analysis, Ishikawa, Is / Is not, ...), drafting of Risk Assessment, recording of Lessons Learnt, verification of the project development plan according to APQP / MLA, project and Quality System Audits.

Starting from September 2017 I have been appointed manager of the Advanced Failure Analysis Team, leading a group of engineers dedicated to complex analyses and techniques / tools development and deployment. My Team is dedicated to both Customer support and internal analyses.

STMicroelectronics is one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies: according to the latest industry data, ST is the world’s fifth largest semiconductor company with market leadership in many fields.I started my career as Failure Analysis Engineer on VLSI products for Automotive applications.This activity requests good knowledge of electronics, physics of semiconductors, microprocessors architecture, and all production process, from device manufacturing to final application.My professional growth led me to coordinate people and resources in failure analysis activities, to develop and deepen new analysis techniques, to be involved in the qualification process of new devices and technologies, to be more deeply involved in dealing directly with Customers.Since January 2010 I am managing a small team dedicated to analyses on products under development and qualification, coordinating all FA activities including the development and management of needed software and hardware tools.
