In January 2001 Perfetti bought Van Melle. Following this acquisition I was reassigned to control different companies inside the group. This companies are: Gum Base Asia, Gum Base Shanghai, Perfetti China, Perfetti India, Perfetti Indonesia, Perfetti Vietnam.

The new Subsidiary started to be operative in San Paulo from May 1999. My new duties were also that one to integrate and coordinate the Finance Department of Brazil into the Group. The goal was to achieve the standard HQ’s required quality for the reporting.

Hold responsibility of co-ordinate and reorganise the three companies in Asia (China, Vietnam, and Indonesia) from an administrative and IT point of view. Carry on new projects for a better integration and a better data out coming from the Subsidiary.

Duties were to set up the company. I had responsibilities for the following departments: Administration, Finance, IT and Personnel. The company started the building construction in February 1996, the production trial in February 1997 and was fully operative in April 1997.
