I also serve as Board Member of the European Sharing Economy Coalition, where I have led public affairs and governmental relations for Airbnb, Tinder, Netflix and Etsy in Brussels and Washington DC.I'm a former EU Commission policy officer and an employment lawyer by training, specialised in solo-entrepreneurship, distributed workforce management, and digital work on platforms.I have studied and worked with platform businesses for 16+ years and trained 350+ C-suite executives from leading organisations, including Fortune500, on how to build, monetise and fundraise for digital marketplaces. My latest masterclasses took place in Barcelona, Helsinki, Oslo, Tel Aviv, Zug and Moscow.I designed and teach Europe’s first master-level course on "Digital Platforms: Designing Two-Sided Markets from APIs to Network Effects" at South-East Finland University of Applied Sciences.I serve on the New Network Technologies WEF Council, I'm author of the upcoming book (March 2025): "The Lean Solopreneur: Platform Work in the New Economy", and I'm a frequent keynote speaker, including TEDxMoscow 2019 and TEDxLeuven 2017.I've been named by PR News the Most Creative Practitioner in Public Affairs in 2018, by the Eurasia Foundation Global Leader in 2017, and I co-host Legal Hackers in Brussels.I’ve been in the United Nations Peacekeeping Program as Blue Helmet (civilian personnel) for the Office of Mission Support in Eritrea and I'm a certified first aider with the Italian Red Cross.I am e-Resident of Estonia, occasionally playing around being a digital nomad.
