I am a software developer and a tech lover. In Forge, the company I co-founded, I actively participate in the research and development of innovative platforms in the field of artificial intelligence and e-commerce process automation.Starting from 2009, in 7pixel Srl (then MutuiOnline Spa), I contributed from day one to the creation of Drezzy (www.drezzy.it), an online shopping service based on a CBIR engine, with web, iOS and Android frontends. Drezzy's backend is based on state of the art technologies ranging from machine learning, in order to extract visual and textual information from fashion offers, to information indexing achieved with Apache Solr.My tech skills are:- Artificial Intelligence: computer vision, images and text analysis, neural networks, acquired during my Ph.D. in computer science- Software development: backend (NestJs, Express, Spring, .NET, REST APIs, MySQL and PostgreSQL, MongoDB, indexing and search), cloud native (AWS, Azure and GCP), frontend (Angular, React, Lit, vanilla JS), mobile (iOS Swift+ObjC, Android Java+Kotlin, responsive web, PWA).- Understanding business needs and building business models- User experience: combining marketing, branding, visual design and usability- Project management and team leading- Agile development: (Iterative and incremental development, unit/integration/acceptance testing, continuous integration, extreme programming, scrum)
