I lead efforts to bring to market vegetable oil and plant protein from the regenerative pongamia tree. I also lead Terviva's work scaling pongamia tree cultivation by growers and bean gathering from smallholder farmers to support product partners worldwide. Drawing on Terviva's deep food and ag IP, we offer partners tasty, healthy vegetable oil, plant protein, and value-added food products from high-yielding trees that restore soil and landscapes and thrive in difficult conditions throughout the subtropics.

The Herndon Directors Institute is a corporate board readiness fellowship of The Herndon Foundation and a partnership with America’s leading corporations and organizations proactively aligned to expand corporate board member participation.

Selected as a Finance Leaders Fellow and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, where I contribute perspectives from impact investing to inform broader finance and social enterprise practice. I am supporting a venture to accelerate investment in the nature-focused UN Sustainable Development Goals, which lag other SDGs in financial support and investable opportunities. I am also sharing thought leadership perspectives from 10 years of investing for financial returns and social and environmental impact across diverse issue areas, including conservation, humanitarian relief, and community development around the world.

I launched and led NatureVest, the conservation investing unit of The Nature Conservancy and an ImpactAssets 50 Manager. NatureVest’s mission is to create and execute investable deals in a wide variety of sectors around the world that deliver conservation results and financial returns for investors. Our vision is based on the conviction that capital markets, businesses and governments must invest in nature as the long-term capital stock of a sustainable, equitable and more efficient economy.To achieve this, we source and structure investments that support the Conservancy’s mission, raise capital from investors looking to generate both financial returns and conservation outcomes, and share our experience with the investment and conservation communities to accelerate the growth of the conservation investing marketplace.

I launched and led The UNICEF Bridge Fund, a social investment pool of flexible funding that fast-tracks life-saving equipment and commodities to the world’s most vulnerable children.Foundations, corporations, and individual impact investors can participate with net worth grant contributions and below market-rate loans (a qualifying program-related investment).I also oversaw the USF's Administration platform, leading continuous improvement processes for core contracting, procurement, real estate, travel, and office service delivery. Supported expansion and refresh of US office footprint including HQ renovation and new office openings. Led Superstorm Sandy emergency response enabling continuous business operations during 6-week displacement from HQ and advancing recovery efforts with minimal financial losses.
