With over 16 years of work experience, I am a lead engineer at Black & Veatch, a global leader in engineering, consulting, and construction services. I specialize in overhead transmission line design, ranging from 115kV to 500kV, and have a master's degree and a professional engineer license in civil engineering. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for critical infrastructure projects that enhance the quality of life and the environment. I value teamwork, collaboration, and diversity, and I enjoy working with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from different backgrounds and disciplines.In my current role, I lead the design of transmission lines for various clients, including utilities, cooperatives, and developers. I perform structural analysis, modeling, drafting, and documentation using software such as AutoCAD, PLS-CADD Suite, MFAD and LPile. I also coordinate with other engineers, designers, surveyors, and contractors to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of the design. One of my recent projects involved the removal of two 115kV transmission circuits attached to 100-year-old towers over a busy railroad and highway bridge, which required creative and collaborative approaches. I co-authored a paper on this project, which was published in a prestigious conference in 2022.
