I have had the opportunity to supply wine to VikingLine on several occasions, as well as listings with Emirates Airlines, Korean Airlines and other areas of travel retail.I enjoy people contact. I love talking to winemakers about their philosophy. I also enjoy talking to my customers and learning about their needs and expectations. Ideally, the winemaker and the importer are a perfect match and both look forward to a long and trusting relationship and many good vintages.I am curious and always interested in developing myself.I was born and grew up in Zeulenroda, Thuringia, during the GDR era. Before the fall of the Berlin Wall in October 1989, my family and I emigrated to West Germany. This tremendous change and the repression it brought with it instilled in me a deep belief in the individual freedom of every human being. Today I am happy and grateful to live with my family in a free and democratic country.For several years, I have been volunteering at the children's and youth telephone, commonly known as the "Nummer gegen Kummer" (Number Against Grief).
