With over ten years of experience as a consulting economist, I balance my extensive background in economic and environmental consulting with new experiences in the financial industry within the Cayman Islands. I started out as an environmental economist for Jacobs, a global engineering consulting firm in the UK, achieving my Practitioner - IEMA designation, and then moved to lead the environmental economics workstream at Future Cities Catapult, a technology and innovation centre. Following a move to the Cayman Islands, I work as an Analyst in the Finance Support department of Walkers, a leading local law firm. Outside of work, I love to scuba dive and am a CFA Level III candidate. During my career, I have worked to develop strategies for small businesses and global law firms, collect performance metrics, create financial and economic models, develop assessment methodologies and supervised accountants from across our business jurisdictions to ensure their work aligns with global standards.
