Marc is the CEO and founder of MRWED Training and Assessment, a private Australian registered training organisation, specialising in trainer training. He has been involved in workplace and Vocational Education for 25 years. This experience includes conducting over 300 courses in “trainer training” in the last 18 years. In addition to this, he has presented training-related workshops internationally in North America, Africa and Asia. He is a Registered Teacher and has completed a Masters in Education specialising in Adult and Workplace Education. In 2009, he was named as one of the top 10 young trainers in the world by US Training Magazine and was awarded a Global HR Award for "Strategic Leadership" by the World HRD Congress in 2012. In 2013, Marc was named the Learning and Development Professional of the Year for QLD/NT at the AITD awards. In 2015 he was awarded an "Outstanding Leadership" Award at the World HRD Congress and in 2017 was presented with a "Global Training and Development Leadership" award at the World Training and Development Congress.Since 2006, Marc has spoken at conferences in Australia (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Darwin), Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, Klang), UK (London), USA (Altanta, Chicago, Dallas, Boston, Orlando, Minneapolis, Wichita, Norman, Washington DC) and India (Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore). His organisation MRWED is one of Australia's leading providers of "trainer training". MRWED has been a State Finalist for Training Provider of the year, ranked in the top 10 in a list of top Queensland training providers in the Qld Business Review’s Book of Lists, listed five times on BRW's Great Places to Work list (3 times in top 10), garnered two Australian Business Awards for Recommended Employer, named as one of Asia's Best Employer Brands and most recently named as a finalist in the Australian HR Awards in the category of Employer of Choice (>1000).
