In the midst of the current chaos and uncertainty, I am excited to announce some uplifting news instead… While it has always been in my blood, I have found great escape in recent days and today, after a 20+ year hiatus, I’m officially launching DJMarcRousso. During the day, I am the proud CEO of JayMarc Homes, my first passion. At night, I also get to follow my eternal obsession – music. Connecting through the emotion of music and creating community is what I love. Music reminds us of times, people and places. My signature sound, “ClubHouseFunk,” is inspired by classic house music coupled with undertones of funk and soul. I’m proud to collaborate with acclaimed Producer Adri Block of Block & Crown on ten original remixes that are set to release the summer of 2020. The first song, “Swing To Our HipHouse” is now available on traxsource.com, soon to be followed by solo songs “Don’t Give Up” (Luca Devonaire Clubmix), a remake of Stevie Wonder’s classic “All I Do” (Clubmix) featuring Carter Brown, and a funky remix of Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze” (Clubmix).
