Senior Development ManagerOracle 2006 - 2010I had increasing product development responsibility for existing and newly created Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products. I inherited product ownership of the core customer data model. My team supported it for integration with other products and enhanced it for better performance. I expanded this ownership to include Online Marketing and Sales products. I launched the CRM master data management (MDM) product, leveraging the Oracle Customer Data Hub. This resulted in the first major product integration between the two companies after Oracle acquired PeopleSoft.

Development ManagerOracle 2001 - 2006I helped launch the Sales Incentive Management product line, initially as a developer, but most of the time as the product manager and development manager for one of the core products – a self-service application for salespeople to verify their commissions and explore the impact of their sales forecasts on future commissions. I created the product concept and roadmap for this product, and eventually owned all the other products in the product line. Incentive Management has a unique technical architecture which posed high risks using the then-current technology toolset, but also resulted in a high upside product strategy. I provided clear and timely updates to senior executives, and ultimately delivered a shipped product with no known bugs – a first time achievement for any product at that time.
