Commercial Credit Management, Underwriting, and Training 35+ years’ experience in SBA Lending, Credit Approval, Underwriting, Credit Analysis, Commercial Banking Portfolio Management, Business Development, and Treasury/Cash Management. Review and decision pre-flight analysis and credit memos for SBA 7(a), 504, and conventional loan approval decisions. Analyze, determine eligibility, structure, and complete a full underwrite of SBA and conventional loans under the SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs, utilizing prudent commercial lending practices that comply with Lender’s Credit Policy and SBA SOPs. Prepare SBA GP loan submission documents and Etran submissions, working directly with SBA to obtain loan authorization in a timely manner. Train and mentor underwriters, credit analysts, and interns. Work directly with external referral sources on new applications and in underwriting. Credits include Commercial & Industrial Loans, Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Loans, Lines of Credit, and Government Guaranteed/SBA Loans Diverse and extensive portfolio management experience across manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, commercial real estate, startups, business acquisition, medical, asset based finance, and trade finance. Collaborate and brainstorm with “C” level professionals for strategic planning. Have focused on audits in every phase of the banking industry. Formally credit trained via Omega early in career with HSBC Bank.
