Responsible for directing a team of analysts who manage prices for over 38,000 products sold in the automotive aftermarket.o Functional pricing - Setting, loading and maintaining prices in the business system. Responsible for implementing SAP in the Asia-Pacific region, I've expanded the footprint of global business processes and continued to improve and expand on system functionality.o Led project team to successfully transition Pricing Department, Sales and distributors in Asia-Pacific region to SAP/Vistex. o Worked with and traveled to RA locations in China, Australia, Singapore and India. o Wrote training material and organized / executed training for Sales and Pricing departments. o Provided technical support prior to and following system cutover.o Successfully achieved specific measurable business goals. o Identified, defined and implemented SAP and Vistex functional enhancements. o Supported initiative to roll out Microsoft Office 365, represented the department on cross-department task team and served as a technical resource to the department.

As part of a global, company task team, I helped to redesign the company's pricing functionality in SAP/Vistex.o Worked with business to write detailed functional specifications. o Streamlined processes and built tools for standard pricing functionality to calculate and load list prices and standard discounts for 250,000 products in 50 countries.o Developed functionality to support the negotiated pricing practices defined by a wide variety of agreement types.o Rebuilt Ship From Stock And Credit (also known as "Ship and Debit"​) capability to support third-party distributors purchasing at book price and requesting post-sale credits to achieve agreement pricing.o Created an external portal for Sales and Distributors to access manufacturer's system to request special pricing and to process post-sale SFSAC claims.o Implemented Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions to support request for SFSAC claims and manufacturer's response.o Worked with software developers to create custom functionality. o Wrote and delivered training. o Successfully implemented new functionality in North America and Europe.

Responsible for managing pricing and negotiations for Rockwell Automation’s Industrial Control business. During this time, my key contributions were in the following areas:o Improved pricing processes to provide fast response to pricing requests from Sales and Distributors to "negotiate to yes."o Developed tools to utilize segmented pricing needed to maximize revenue and profits. o Managed a team of analysts and pricing managers.o Collaborated with other RA businesses to standardize price publications and pricing tools to better understand and exploit sales data.o Supported a cross-business price analysis project that resulted in a simplification of standard book pricing. o Key member in a cross-functional team investigating price optimization software.
