As a Division Manager for Heartland here in Hawaii, I recruit and develop entrepreneurial sales professionals to build their wealth while maintaining a work/life balance. I give the right candidate direct and indirect training, as well as innovative sales tools. Marco D. Schlesser was born in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Europe as the second generation of Italian immigrants. After high school and college, Marco studies French law, accounting, economics and management in France. He is fluent in Luxembourgish, English, French and German. Luxembourg being a banking center, Marco naturally enters this business and in 1986 joins a Japanese Bank’s Luxembourg office. He receives a broad formation as a banker and is appointed vice-president of the loan, capital market and research department and acts as an advisor to the managing director on issues relating to Luxembourg and the European Union. During this time Marco attends several seminars in Japan, which nurture his admiration for Asian cultures. Marco joins a trading company as vice-president for sales and finance and when the decision is made to open a U.S. office, he is appointed president of the U.S. venture in June of 1997. In 2002 he joins a check guarantee company where he develops the employment background screening services as VP of Sales.
