I am currently a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Germany. The subject of my thesis is "IT Security and Data Protection in the Cloud: Architectural and Organizational Patterns for the Further Development of the IT Basic Security with Special Consideration of Technical, Political, Legal, Economic and Organizational Requirements." I believe that it is of great importance to adress the fields of IT security and data protection in a multidisciplinary way, and to put the focus on the concrete use of IT services in line with the concept of Human-Computer-Interaction (HCI). Furthermore, I am engaged as a guest speaker at several universities, for instance at the University of California, San Diego, in the field of Enterprise IT and Emerging Technologies. At the UCSD, I have successfully completed a Business English and American Business Programme. Moreover, I have received a recommendation for global projects at the UCSD. Additionally, I work as owner and entrepreneur at Marc Aurel Schubert IT Consulting in the areas of IT service management, software development and operational support.
