ABC of Metro Washington founded ABC CraftMasters Training Trust (CTT), a separate 501(c)(3) to help its members and the Merit Shop Construction Community create a qualified workforce now and into the future. Our Mission is to develop construction trade professionals through innovative educational programming; CTT offers construction apprenticeship and construction craft training in up to 21 separate trades.This Director-level position:• leads the strategy, training and development of construction trade professionals through innovative educational programming that provides the Metro Washington Region with the most highly-skilled construction workforce.• serve students considering initial career paths in construction, seasoned veterans of the construction or any other industry, or an employer looking for ways to improve employee skill-set.• Lead staff and instructors in providing Skills Training and Apprenticeship ABC to help its members and the Merit Shop Construction Community create a qualified workforce.• Provide direct coaching & mentoring to staff to build organizational capability.• Build and implement a business strategy of growth that fosters efficiency and effective metrics for data-based decision-making.• Provide cross-functional team leadership within the Training Academy and the Advocacy Group. Identify opportunities for Member/student satisfaction via development of service KPIs and Best Demonstrated Practices.• Lead interface for related State of Maryland and District of Columbia officials charged with responsibility for effective registration and training of students.• Work with the Advocacy Group to foster strong relationships with Member businesses and allied governmental/association entities.

Provide overall leadership, innovation and strategic direction to multiple operational units within the Bank, including Core Operations, Digital Banking, Loan Operations Booking/Servicing, Deposits, Payments, Wire Transfer, ACH Operations, Vendor Contract Management. As well, provide leadership, mentoring, representation, sponsorship and consultation for major operational projects; oversee the Division's product and vendor relationships to include contract negotiation, setting and monitoring of performance standards and contingency planning. Work in close partnership and collaboration with Risk, Audit, and Compliance groups to foster a robust control environment for the Enterprise.Provide leadership, management and vision to business unit managers and staff, furthering the existing principles of a customer-focused philosophy throughout.Drive efficiency into Operations programs, balancing resources to meet both a customer-focused environment and organizational requirements; monitor/analyze production and systems to maintain effectiveness while concurrently developing/implementing strategies for improvement and growth.Develop and implement strategic plans and goals that align with the Company’s overall mission and objectives while managing the execution of daily operational requirements.Ensure a dynamic, efficient, and closely monitored Operations Risk and Control environment that fully maintains and augments risk/compliance models.Own and Optimize Corporate Services/Facilities functions for Enterprise, including build-out and de-commissioning of spaces.

Provide experienced thought-leadership with focus on detailed financial services operations processes, scalability, integration, and customer/user-experience. Emphasis on efficiency, operational risk control, and mitigation. Develop automation and processing improvements to existing Fraud/Risk modules for a top-line national benefits savings provider. Using Agile/JIRA methodology, create back-office/third-party Payments, cash management processing strategy, workflows and user-stories. Contract successfully completed on-time and target.

Program-level responsibility for key cross-enterprise/cross-business initiatives relating to global, business-level infrastructure and critical risk and regulatory/compliance innovation.- Risk Control: Global Credit Operations, Consumer Core Operations - Dodd-Frank Resolution Planning- North America Operations Program Management Optimization- Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)- Re-engineering strategy and implementation of back-office operations functions
