I’ve consulted with and supported 8 MSP’s on their LabTech implementations (and the list continues to grow). The main focus of my work is not only to increase monitoring effectiveness but to also customize the implementation to each MSP's specific needs/requirements. My tasks included system administration & engineering, desktop & application support, as well as technology procurement, implementation and project management.I completed a multitude of projects during my tenure, to include:-Exchange upgrade/migration-SQL upgrade/migration-Citrix upgrade/migration-Planning, design, and implementation of enterprise level UPS solution-Backup Exec support (v10, 11, 12, 12.5) prior to Online Backup system-Migration from tape backup to online backup utilizing Barracuda hardware-Implementation of Outlook Anywhere (to relieve the use of Citrix published Outlook)-Migration from server-attached storage model to NAS/iSCSI, utilizing HP hardware-Upgrade of corporate/remote networks, utilizing Procurve 10/100/1000 hardware-Implementation of secure WiFi throughout our locations, utilizing Procurve Access Points-Planning, design, and implementation of a user migration program from Windows XP to 7 Professional-Implementation of Active Sync and Blackberry Enterprise for mobile device access-Implemented multiple upgrade/consolidation cycles moving away from “white box” equipment-Created extensive end-user support documentation for known issues/common scenarios-Planning, design, and implementation of an enterprise-wide "time-clock" system (utilizing HP thin-client technology) which tied into a Citrix published MS Great Plains accounting package. This replaced the existing system which depended on 56k modem access and legacy hardware.As a subsidiary of a larger publically traded company, Stabil Drill maintained SOX compliance which required performing a detailed monthly IT audit/report which I presented to our parent company – Superior Energy Services.
