IT Foresight is a full service IT consulting firm serving small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S.I started IT Foresight to serve a need that was at the “crossroads of IT and Intelligence.” In an increasingly competitive business environment, it’s essential that businesses have an eye on the competition, information about their customers and insight into future trends. Information Technology touches all of these areas, helping the organizational leaders to gain, manage and use impactful data.The firm worked with a diverse set of clients, large, small, for-profit and nonprofit. I’ve learned that no matter what size of company you have, when your IT goes askew, your business stops or flounders. I’ve also learned and tried valiantly to pass on to my customers, that proactivity around all things IT is a number 1 priority for business today.

Galerie was facing multiple issues caused by expansive growth when I took on the role of CTO. I had to create efficiencies, design and implement new and highly innovative systems, fix some massive problems and, of course, do it all on a budget and get it done yesterday.Working for a family-run business, I got to see first-hand how the business supports its founder and employees. Every decision and action had a direct effect on the people I worked with as well as their customers. While at P&G, I intrinsically knew this but in a company that big, it’s easy to become removed from the people and more focused on the infrastructure of the organization.At Galerie, I had to focus on both. The end result was that as a team, we increased sales from $30 million to $60 million in 6 years and the infrastructure was in place for the company to continue to grow into the next generation.

It’s difficult to encapsulate my vast and diverse P&G career into a few paragraphs on LinkedIn. I had the great privilege to serve in different parts of the world, on numerous teams, making an impact wherever I was positioned. Here’s a brief overview of the areas of business where I largely innovated and influenced major changes in systems and the way business was done and is still being done today:-Competitive Intelligence (CI): Founded and developed the Intelligence New Ventures Unit, a global CI department, led cyber, network and physical security operations. Our wildly successful results led to two different $5 Billion company acquisitions.-Sales Force Automation/Customer Relationship Management: I was a principle [First of 2] developer of this 1st and 2nd generation software that went on to become standard [SFA] in sales organizations around the world.-Advertising and Media: Created a unique system to manage P&G’s TV commercial scheduling for more than a decade. This system produced the monthly optimized TV commercial scheduling for all of P&G’s brands. As the largest user of TV commercial inventory, this system was critical to the optimization of the solutions to this complex challenge covering $10+ billion of advertising spend.-Advanced Technology: Led the development of the global architecture and standards for mobile and alternative/home offices. I also led the Enterprise Asset Management effort which covered the architecture and standards for the protection and backup of more than 100,000 workstations & servers worldwide.-Packaging Development and Industrial Design Technologies: Devised and led the creation of the next-generation IPS (Integrated Packaging System) and from my base in Europe, led the Global roll-out to England, Belgium, and Japan.-Direct Marketing, Frequency Marketing, and Coupon Processing: Co-developed first generation, in-store, point-of-purchase frequency marketing (affinity/loyalty) systems for the grocery industry.
