Outside In is a national charity providing a platform for artists who face significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation. Celebrating the diversity of talent from artists outside the mainstream, the charity’s ambition is to create a fairer art world challenging definitions as to who is an artist and what constitutes art.The charity has an award winning and ground breaking programme of outreach, exhibitions and training which includes: • Artist Support Days, held around the UK in areas of low arts engagement to enable artists to join the charity and create an online gallery • Training, a dedicated programme supporting artists in developing new skills and gaining employment • Exhibitions, providing artists with opportunities to exhibit and sell their work and take part in commissions and residenciesSince its inception in 2006, Outside In has engaged with more than 5,000 artists traditionally excluded from the art world, reached a quarter of a million audience members and partnered with more than 100 organisations nationally and internationally. It has held more than 50 exhibitions to date, and currently provides opportunities and support for more than 3,000 artists.Over the next three years the charity will work to consolidate the national reach of its programmes. It will do this through partnerships with key strategic arts organisations, creating hubs of activity and support across the UK.

The European Outsider Art was founded In August 2009 at the Museum Dr. Guislain, Belgium. The Association seeks to strengthen the voice of Outsider Art by improving intercultural cooperation and dialogue across EuropeThe association operates as an umbrella organisation for all cultural workers devoted to the promotion of marginalised art in the European cultural sector. www.outsiderartassociation.eu

ActionSpace supports the development of artists with learning disabilities in a professional studio environment and creates innovative projects for people with learning disabilities to engage with the visual arts.
