During the period from February 2006 until August 2006 I worked in the slums of Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa. During this period I was partly responsible for non-engineering people together to build a community center.In 2007 and 2009 I was initiated with a group of young adults (17-40 years) in the same slums helping hand to this great foundation, that the poorest will provide good education and shelter.Since 2009 mainly involved as ambassador and fundraiser.

LEF is the youth section of Navigators, a worldwide movement of Christians with the main focus on building personal relationships, helping people being a disciple of Jesus and teach them in giving this to others.Within the work of LEF I'm responsible for the events are held throughout the year. My job is to organize a groupleader weekends (60 people).

Mainly involved in the development of care farms, urban renewal, home renovations and restoration of monuments.All great projects! Listen to the client and work closely with building professionals, that's the best way to handle complex and unusual projects. Involved in each project from design to completion, from technical design to executive management.

I learned a lot about engineering to advance my building skills. My responsibilities were mainly: small renovations and revision drawings for Aldi.
