While working for Bercy Chen the owners were trying to procure investments from foreign investors. I was in charge of gathering information on recent marketing trends and organizing it in such a way that it was easy to present and understandable in a meeting with the owners.Bercy Chen specializes in building green buildings and modern architecture. This required me to find rare recycled materials and find pricing for different companies. For example the company was asked to retrofit a large curtain wall and I was asked to find pricing on recycled glass in the area and estimate a price. I was also asked to research and estimate the cost of installing a large water feature for a bed and breakfast.Used Photoshop and Illustrator to create precedents and image renderings for presentations toclients

Worked on residential construction site, installing electrical systems. I was under the supervision of a licensed electrician and was supervised in the more technical aspects (sizing wire and how to install specific connections) but was able to work on my own as far as finding fixture placement, etc. were concerned.Gained hands on experience of construction process. The problems that may come into play, the builder/subcontractor relationship, etc. We were working at the same time as the framers and I was able to see different issues that play along with installing ceiling fixtures while the framers are still working on the ceiling as well as the benefits.
