I'm working full time for Network Rail Consulting in Sydney Australia, on the Digital Systems Programme with Transport for New South Wales and Sydney Trains. I lead the development, delivery and acceptance of operational and maintenance systems changes required to successfully roll out Digital Systems for TfNSW. Developing a coherent plan for the System Integrator and wider Digital Systems Program that calls out operational, maintenance, training and business change activities that are required to successfully deliver the new systems. I own the SI development, planning and delivery of the Operational Readiness phase of the program (phase 7). I also work with the V&V team and wider program to accelerate operational readiness as much as possible and ensure there is a smooth transition between Sub-System Testing (phase 5), System Integration Testing (phase 6), Operational Readiness (phase 7) and Entry into Service. I lead a team of experts to deliver, the professional management and control of operational specifications, variations, standards development, design approval and acceptance of systems to enable the efficient and effective delivery of Digital Systems for TfNSW.
