As Senior Design Engineer, I am part of a team of product designers at varied levels.In this role I am responsible for the following:- Managing / coaching junior designers, under-graduates and graduates- Lead designer on NPD- Producing concepts through to Engineered product- Working with oversees manufacturers / suppliers to develop NPD- Present concept / development stages to Senior Management team- Provide solutions to product marketing needs with respect to business road map

Design Engineer working within a small team, industrial product designers producing vacuum cleaners, and special purpose vacuum systems.Due to the scale of the research and development team, I was responsible for concept generation, creating and conducting engineering testing, costing analysis, DFM stages, and post-production support / technical specifications.

Associate lecturer at Bridgwater College, delivering parametric 3D CAD modelling. Classes were run in the evening, where I would deliver content to 15-20 students with an age range of 25-50.I delivered a parametric 3D modelling and engineering course through Solidworks; largely I was left to structure the material myself along with assessments of my own making.To complete the course several examinations had to be passed, these were set by the awarding body.
