I have a bachelor’s degree in biology and Minor in Chemistry from William Carey University. I am currently a team-leader and work as a surgical/clinical Neurophysiologist where I perform spinal cord monitoring for neuro, vascular, ENT and craniotomy/skull based surgeries. In addition to my Surgical and clinical work experience, I have enhanced my skills to be organized, efficient, critical thinker, reliable, and professional. I've gained knowledge in management, financial budgeting, business network and development. Over the past seventeen years of clinical/operating room experience I've achieved many certifications; Certification in Neuro-Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM), Sterile & Aseptic Technique, Infectious control, and Bloodborne Pathogen Certification. I'm also a part of many medical associations ASET and ASMN, to name a few and for leisure I volunteer my services at BBBS (Big Brother Big Sister) where I've been a big brother for 7 years now. Although I wear many hats In and out the Operating room from training, teaching, and mentoring, I've remained unwavering in my dedication to break down barriers that impact the ability to effectively and efficiently deliver the highest-possible patient care, patient safety and patient outcome.
