This position is within the Information Services unit of the department - time management is paramount to ensure clients are provided with the information they are looking for in a timely manner. The team work to strict work processes to produce quality work for clients. Working in this team has given me a chance to enhance my customer service skills. Key accountabilities for this role include:• providing advice and support to clients relating to the department’s TRIM electronic document and records management system (eDRMS) and associated applications and negotiate outcomes in relation to information management related problems and issues.• providing frontline supervision, task allocation and training to Information Management support Officers. • assisting with updating work procedures, quality assurance, archiving, and other information management projects.• liaising with clients and provide advice on information management tools, business classification schemes and thesaurus, metadata standards and retention and disposal schedules.• Assisting the development and delivery of information management training for clients.

This role is situated in the Information Management Services unit where administration skills, Extensive training in TRIM and general office duties/ records keeping were the key areas of development within the position. Working on projects such as clearing of extensive quantities of physical documentation to off sight retention facilities as well as being involved in a paper light progression. These were demanding of swift problem solving skills coupled with efficiently conducted, process based tasks completed at a high standard. This roles Key accountabilities Include;• Provide advice, assistance and support to clients on the application of the department’s TRIM electronic document and records management system ( eDRMS) and associated applications.• Consult and liaise with clients to maintain effective working relationships to ensure that information management services continually meet their needs.• Undertake classification and filing of physical and electronic documents and files in accordance with the Department’s Business Classification Scheme.• Conduct quality assurance of physical and electronic files and documents within TRIM eDRMS.• Assist with the identification of opportunities for process improvement and implement measures that continually improve the operations of the information management function.

Working with clientele to achieve optimal outcomes when it comes to difficulties or areas of improvement within their riding. Thinking on your feet and swiftly communicating resolutions to their problems.
