I have been employed as the replenishment manager for B&Q Luton for the past year and a half. I take responsibility for the whole store for the out of hours replenishment of stock and all the aspects of security and health and safety that are required daily. I currently have a team of 3 supervisors and 16 staff to complete all the operational aspects required.I have managed several departments throughout my time with B&Q; namely Flooring and tiling manager in Luton; Hardware and building manager in Luton and Watford. I have also completed times in Luton Gypsy Lane store and Welwyn Garden City stores as senior manager/Deputy manager.

I was employed as the Unit Business Manager (Store Manager) for the 2 Whsmith Franchise Shops of a motorway service station at Newport Pagnell.During my time at Welcome Break, I was responsible for delivering a 15% like for like growth in the 1st year and 3% in the 2nd year.I was the trial site for Whsmith Franchise that the company rolled out. Dealing with both Whsmith Head office personnel and my own head office to establish correct working best practices ready for the company roll out.I achieved the best spend competition within the 2nd year winning £1200 of holiday vouchers.I spent time deputising for the sites Assistant Site Director at times of holidays and recruitment/training of new personnel. As a result I often had to interact with the other Franchise Managers of Starbucks, KFC, Burger King and She'll to ensure retail standards and professionalism were being met.As part of my succession planning on the site, I helped 1 member of staff to gain the position of Unit Business Manager and 3 other staff to supervisor levels.
