Typical development teams comprised 2 firmware engineers, 2-3 software engineerings and 2 test engineers.- Closely worked together with hardware development teams to ensure on-time bring-up and software-supported qualification of system hardware components.- Project managed improvement of system software by implementing customer's hardware health monitoring strategy resulting in significant reduction of system outages, working closely together with customer to analyse and define requirements, setting up project team and schedule and executing upon plan.- Established outsourcing agreements with TATA Consultancy Services in India and Techart Micro Systems in Russia to assure continuity in software maintenance for tier-1 and 2 telecom customers assuring >$150m annual revenue.- Actively participated in redefining and establishing the software development process to ease and facilitate software development activities across international sites.- Managed three teams of software engineers and technicians by holding team and departmental meetings and providing guidance in regard to project staffing, coaching and individual development on a daily basis.

Overall technical and resource responsibility for the Engineering department for all hardware and software development of CompactPCI, VME, and PrPMC products; reporting to the worldwide Director of CPCI, VME, PrPMC Engineering based in Tempe, Arizona.Achievements:- Managed multiple computer hardware and software development and sustenance projects for clients including Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks and GE Healthcare by baselining requirements in close cooperation with customers, setting up project schedules and staffing, executing and monitoring projects to support >$200m in annual revenue.- Project managed the development of BIOS and IPMI firmware for joint CompactPCI computer board development with design centre in Tempe, Arizona.- Managed hardware development and qualification of CompactPCI and VME computer boards for industrial and telecom applications. Typical design teams comprised 1 hardware engineer, 2 firmware engineers, 2 software engineers and 1 test engineer; design cycles were between 12-15 months.- Managed a team of 14 hardware, software, and system engineers by ensuring adequate project staffing, weekly team meetings, quarterly performance reviews, individual coaching, development and trainings.
