I graduated from Coventry University in 1999 with a degree in Business and went on to become an Assistant Fund Manager at Stockbrokers Williams de Broe, Birmingham. I became a registered representative of the Financial Conduct Authority (formally FSA) and approved a ‘fit and proper person’ to perform controlled functions on behalf of the firm. Further qualifications in Regulation & Compliance were obtained.In 2003 I joined Solus, which was established in 1995. I was appointed Operations Director in March 2005, Managing Director in 2012 and Chief Executive Officer in 2023.We are the UK's leading supplier of ceramic tiles to the architectural specification market. During my time at Solus, the business has grown from £2m to £22m+ turnover, employee numbers from 16 to 100+ and the business moved into a 44,000 sq. ft. purpose-built unit in Birmingham in 2008.
