Our mission is to serve the church by equipping the saints with the best tools for knowing God and connecting with each other.- I lead product direction, design, and engineering for Ila Lantern, the lantern for moments of connection. Ila features best in class brightness, battery life, and durability. It is currently in limited release by seven early adopters.- I designed and implemented the Ila Lantern firmware and mobile application. The firmware is implemented using event based architecture and communicates with the React Native mobile app via Bluetooth Low Energy. The app features a real-time reflection of the current lantern state, and over the air updates.- I built Odyssey Journal, an encrypted journaling mobile app for closed country missionaries (React Native, Firebase, NextJS) Features real-time messaging and on-device NLP to surface users’ most journaled about people and subjects per week. Meaningfully used to share personal experiences by a handful of clients during COVID.

My mission for this role is to empower engineers to craft high quality products for our clients by ensuring sound architectural decisions, prioritizing engineering concerns, and disseminating best practices.- I lead a team of four frontend engineers in architecting and implementing Procore’s Prequalification product from the ground up. Prequalification was in early release with over a dozen clients and a large waitlist. It was a major component in deciding to build the Preconstruction product line instead of acquiring a competitor.- I built complex, reusable form components in collaboration with the core frontend tooling team and distributed via the CORE component library.

My mission for this role is to empower frontend engineers to craft better products, faster by creating tooling, documentation, and evangelizing best practices.Some highlights and history:-I lead a team of talented junior engineers in rebuilding two legacy products into modern, maintainable, single page applications that have pulled in over $1M in ARR over the 7 months.-I pioneered, co-architected, and evangelized Procore's reusable component library. CORE is fully documented and built in tight partnership with our design team. This library enables developers to go from mocks to implementation faster and more accurately.-I created redux-modules, an open source library that allows developers to declaratively manage state and reduces the amount of code needed to do so by a factor of two. Used in the majority of React clients at Procore Technologies.-I lead the Frontend Chapter for the Financial Tribe for 6 months. During my tenure I worked with engineers identify and address the biggest pain points in the development process, documented current best practices, and organized group code review.

My mission for this role was to help establish a foundation for frontend code in a backend leaning engineering organization.Some highlights and history:- Architected and implemented Procore's first single page applications. These applications now represent $10M+ in ARR.- Implemented the frontend build and deployment pipeline, using Webpack, CircleCI, and Amazon S3- Part of first team which validated the efficacy of the squad model for frontend engineers at Procore- Collaborated with three squads on greenfield projects to architect their entire client side product experience.- Key contributor to Project Zion, a two month long, company wide UI refresh.
