About Marcus Bezzi
I am Chief Advisor to the Competition Taskforce at the Commonwealth Treasury. We have been established to conduct a competition review. Our webpage on the Treasury website provides more information on our work. https://treasury.gov.au/review/competition-policy-review-2023At the ACCC I was Executive General Manager of the Specialist Advice and Services Division and Legal Service. In addition to the legal service I had oversight of the Economics and International Branch and the Data and Intelligence Branch. Those Branches provide expert Economic, Data Analysis, Litigation Technology and Intelligence services. I oversaw the ACCC’s International engagement it’s international capacity building work and it partnerships with competition and consumer agencies in the Pacific, South East Asia and globally. The ACCC has been a very active participant in International bodies including the International Competition Network and the OECD Competition Committee.
