Throughout my 4 years of study I have maintained steady employment at Blastacars Hamilton. I started as a track marshall and receptionist, then progressed to supervisor, and at one stage was an interim co-manager of the business.

Through weekly tutorials I aid students in understanding and applying knowledge for a first year geography paper and second year environmental planning paper.My natural strengths in communication and building relationships made me an effective teacher. This has been a position that has greatly developed me and that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

My first full-time employment was GIS data input for Transfield Services. I was using programes such as NetMAP and AutoCAD to maintain and create records of the fibre optic cables being installed throughout New Zealand. I gained valuable GIS and CAD experience during this time.
