Development and implementation of a methodology for parametric modeling in CATIA V5 for simulation applications. Based on requirements from adjacent disciplines, resilient and flexible models are required to be able to explore a bigger design space. My thesis presents a methodology to aid design engineers in the development of intelligent, knowledge based models, in order to facilitate design optimization.

Design engineer on the new generation Gripen. My role involved leading a project group in the design process while working within tight deadlines, communicating over the disciplines was crucial for success. I find it easy to cooperate with many different kind of people, and that came in really handy here. I learned a lot about production methods and producibility, how very complex big organizations are, but also what force they hold when everyone collaborates in the right ways.

Assembly engineer at the facility in Falun, Sweden. I worked with rear axles, where I was responsible for most of the training of the new employees. Because of my ability to learn quickly, I was often helping other departments when they were short on people, for example assembly of propeller shafts and gears. This was my first real employment and it really gave me a taste for working within the industry and finally got me studying mechanical engineering. Because of my strive to always improve and my commitment, I was trusted to learn a lot of diverse tasks. I was trained as a safety representative as well as in instruction methodology.
