Flight Operations Technician
Dispatched military aircraft and ensured the safe takeoff/landing of both commercial and military aircraft. Maintained flight records, aircraft keys, fuel cards, night vision devices and flight publications & aeronautical charts, both Department of Defense and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Safeguarded classified material and supervised receipt and transfer of classified documents. Maintained flight operations equipment in both Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and in non-tactical environments. Prepared and submitted weekly and monthly flight schedules, annual crewmember/non-crewmember closeouts, operator’s intrusion, jamming and interference reports, and maintained over 200 individual flight record folder’s (IFRF).Provided and ensured that the Division Director had the most current information, awareness and accountability of available aircraft by utilizing Microsoft power point, excel, and word presentations. Managed a 3,900-hour flying program for 6 months in the absence of a first line supervisor; earning an Army Commendation citation and awarded a certificate of achievement.
