I was responsible for developing policy and procedures designed to ensure quality management practices, monitoring controls, and strategic uses of AmeriCorps VISTA resources. Direct Supervision of five people including subordinate supervisors. Lead and facilitated collaboration among and between CNCS programs, other federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and national, state and local entities. Provided oversight and coordination of processes designed to generate relevant and necessary policy changes that are used to shape the AmeriCorps VISTA program.Accomplishments  Under my leadership, AmeriCorps VISTA was featured in multiple articles in the 2016 “My Brother’s Keeper” Second Year Report to POTUS Leveraged my relationships and contacts to create a partnership between USDA and CNCS to further address Opioid Abuse in Rural America Traveled to Ferguson, MO to develop a partnership with VISTA grantees within the faith based community and local elected officials to facilitate diversity and inclusion trainings for local public employees and other AmeriCorps grantees in the St. Louis area.

Others include: Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Homeland Security, U.S. Agency for International Development, Veterans Affairs, Commerce, Education, Corporation for National and Community Service, Justice, Labor, Small Business Administration, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Each Center forms partnerships between its agency and faith-based and neighborhood organizations to advance specific goals, and all of the Centers are coordinated by the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Pathways Programs Senior Advisor to the Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO)/Senior Executive Service (SES) Candidate Development Program Participant I provide the overall management and administration of USDA Pathways Programs (The Pathways Programs, are streamlined developmental programs tailored to promote employment opportunities for students and recent graduates in the Federal workforce) and serve as liaison between the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and USDA Mission Area Human Resources Directors (MAHRD’s) in which I lead Pathways Policy formulation and interpretation and as serve as the deciding official for all program exemptions. In addition I provide both parties with implementation updates, clarify technical and programmatic issues, and provide best practices.I also serve as the Co-Lead of the federal government's Chief Human Capital Officers Council (CHCO) working group on Pathways and Special Hiring Authorities. This working group is comprised of senior level policy leaders and program managers from multiple cabinet level federal agencies. This is as federal govermemnt wide leadership role.

Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Programs (SESCDPs) are OPM-approved training programs designed to develop the executive qualifications of employees with strong executive potential to qualify them for and authorize their initial career appointment to the SES. CDPs include a variety of activities that prepare candidates for success in the SES. In addition, CDPs advance the goal of a "corporate SES," a diverse corps of career executives who share a Governmentwide perspective. These executives share values and a common identity that reach beyond their individual professions or agencies. They are well positioned to lead change both within their agencies and throughout Government.

Led a human resources operations office that was responsible for staffing, classification, recruitment and benefits processing for 18 different USDA offices including the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration. The Branch was responsible for providing services to over 3000 employees.
